Sleep Little Baby, Sleep...
If you red my yesterdays post, then you should know my love for vintage baby images and so this won't come as a surprise when I will say, that wile making previous baby card, I had this urge to make a second baby girl card , but this time as an easel card with a drawer on the bottom. I just love this kind of cards/gift boxes.
I attached the main image using photo corners, so that the owner of this card could switch this image for her own photo if she chose so. This image is even in the standard 9x13cm photo size. This is also the reason why my card front isn't adorned with more flowers or embellies - because they couldn't overlap and glue down my image, so that it could be replaced with a photo.
Even thou I was making a card for a baby girl, I couldn't resist on using this light blue background paper. It is actually a digital paper from one winter collection. I'm using it quite often. And it gives very nice backdrop for all my pink accents. Even this pink stack of brads as a drawer pull looks better on this blue background.
I love these large feltlike roses - too bad that I'm running low on those and I can't get them anymore... And those Prima flowers are simply gorgeous - don't you think? And of course I couldn't go without pearls...
This is how my card looks when it's fully opened - simple but sweet.

Sweet Baby Has Been Born
I adore vintage baby images, so when I was asked to make a card to newly born baby girl, I definitely new that I would be using images just like that. There are so many free vintage images as well as one you may get from etsy or similar sites. Isn't this image just more than cute?
Since the image spoke for itself, I decided not to cram it with lots of distractions, but little flowers will always do... So I adhered few small paper flowers and some pearls - those are single pearls that I arranged in that swirly manner.
Some more small paper flowers and pearls in the opposite corner...
Oh and |I just couldn'; t resist adding that pink organza bow wit a little princess charm.
I was asked to place a money pocket inside the card, so I made it from the same paper I used as the background for my card.
Hope the little lady will appreciate it when she will grow up!
I will enter this card into these challenges:

Free Father's Day Papers
Once again Sizzix has a surprise in their store - so to say - because they are offering free father's day papers for you to print out and create some amazing projects!
Very simple, But So Ellegant
Recently I was asked to make some lilac invitations - folded and tied with ribbon. As they had to be inexpensive, this meant for me that I should make them simple, but somehow manage to keep them on the elegant side. Hopefully I've done just that...
All I did, was to fold some lilac paper, wrap it with white organza ribbon and tied a bow. Then I printed names and date on simple white paper, which I then die cut using one of Spellbinders fancy tags die. Oh and a small rhinestone colored with purple ProMarker.
I wanted the inside to match outside, so I drew this shape using elements from SB fancy tag and then die cut it using my Silhouette.
Yes - simple, but lovely enough for a small wedding :)

Slightly Differently Shaped II
After my previous slightly differently shaped wedding invitation all in white, I was asked to make something with bright pink in it. Oh and maybe some butterflies :)
Well this was my approach to this idea. I made a composition of punched flowers and some white punched butterflies. All centers of my flowers were made using liquid pearls.
This is the second fold of my invite - it is almost impossible to see those slight embossed areas, so I was very proud of myself about this :)
I added some pink matting on the inside as well - just to stay within limits of my assigned color palette :)
